Large-format marketing banner for leading construction firm
The client
GMI is a well-established, successful building and construction service company. They have a proven track record for delivering award winning projects for an international portfolio of developers, public sector clients and blue chip companies.
We supply GMI Construction with printed mesh banners, among other print services. The mesh banners are used on heras fences and gates on their construction sites, providing them with constant visible advertising as well as brand recognition.
Large-format banner
We recently produced the mother of all banners for GMI, weighing in at 150kgs, measuring at 37.5m x 12m in a 350gsm class 0 fire retardant mesh, which is the highest national product performance lining material available.
Crossway Scaffolding, Elland, who are working with GMI on this project, expertly installed the banner with great care and precision on a sunny Saturday morning.
The banner is hard to miss, it's displayed in a Leeds city centre location which is ideal for passing traffic and footfall. The site itself is a 124,000 sq ft refurbishment of 33 Wellington Street, formerly named Benson House. The banner will remain on display for 41 weeks, giving it the rest of 2018 to "build" an impression.
It's certainly the biggest and most impressive banner Ginger has produced to date. We couldn't have felt prouder when we saw it being unveiled at whopping 25 metres high on the Leeds skyline!
